Scuba Diving in the Middle of the Ocean

Due to Easter Islands’ location in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, it possesses a unique undersea fauna with approximately 25 percent of its fish being endemic. The temperature of the ocean tends to be warm and has incredible visibility.

There are many excellent diving spots available including Anakena Beach, El Arca Perdida, Las Áncoras Reef (where you’ll find a submerged Moai Statue) and Moto Nui Cliff (an 80-meter precipice adomed with coral).
