Day 1: ARRIVAL IN BUENOS AIRES.

Day 2: BUENOS AIRES
Discover the charming neighborhood of La Boca and enjoy the tradicional Mercado de San Telmo.
Argentina´s graceful capital has been reinventing itself and drawing food lovers, design buffs and party people with its fun nightlife, fashion-forward style and a favorable exchange rate. It consists of an eclectic collection of neighborhoods, each with its own charm. Stroll the mansion-lined avenues of Recoleta, shop in the funky boutiques of Palermo or visit artists’ ateliers in San Telmo. The creative energy and enterprising spirit of Porteños, as residents are called, are all over the city: just look at the growing ranks of art spaces, boutiques, restaurants and hotels. BA and its people keep on dressing up, staying out and looking good.
We start visiting the historic center: Plaza de Mayo, Cathedral, Montserrat and San Telmo, the neighborhood of Tango. We then continue to La Boca and Caminito, the open door museum. We finish in the modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero where we will enjoy a lovely lunch overlooking the river and docks.

Doing our very best to guide you across the bridge into everything Porteño, we reveal to you: A journey worth of the city’s history and culture, soaked up the best possible way – by riding through its diverse neighborhoods, stopping to enjoy local delicacies and personalities. You’ll obtain mastery of a centuries-old Argentine ritual and discover the little-known secrets of a famous Argentine tradition. We’ll share a typical, gut-busting lunch along our favorite boardwalk. You may decide you never want to leave. This is the perfect introduction to Buenos Aires!

Day 4: BUENOS AIRES

Escape the city for a tour of the Tigre River Delta and San Isidro from Buenos Aires. Admire the cobblestone streets and grand mansions of San Isidro, then enjoy a cruise around the canals and islands of the idyllic Tigre Delta.
An exclusive ride with luxury and comfort in our boat «Afrodita» through the Delta and Río de la Plata. We take you to explore part of the history of our Delta in a typical island barge accompanied by good music and a unique atmosphere.
Afrodita is an old island flat built in the middle of the last century. In its beginnings it was used to transport barrels in a distillery. Ten years later, it was acquired by a family to transport wood from the Paraná Delta to Puerto de Frutos. Due to its flat bottom, ideal for navigating rivers and shallow streams, it is known as “flat palera”. At the beginning of the 90’s with the incorporation of mechanical feathers that replaced man in the cargoes of ships, it was sold and converted into a boat to explore the Amazing Delta del Tigre.

Day 5: BUENOS AIRES/EL CALAFATE

Welcome “ Huerta & Fuego” Dinner in the Hotel Gardens.
Huerta y Fuegos is a space designed for our guests to enjoy the gardens of the hotel with a local production of the orchard and a simple gourmet proposal. It is a space of interaction with the guest where they can taste the best Argentinean meats in hands-on shape with bread and incorporate the products of our orchard in the elaboration of regional dishes. Wine and sangria are the chosen ones to match these delights.

Day 6: EL CALAFATE
Experience sailing through icebergs, a 4×4 ride and a hike to the Upsala Glacier!
Having set sail from Punta Bandera harbor at 9AM, we will glide over the waters of Lake Argentino’s Northern Arm to reach the furthest possible point of navigation in the Upsala Channel, where we can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Upsala Glacier’s immense front. Then, having disembarked at the shores close to Estancia Cristina, the group are welcomed by our specialized driver-guides who will help them into their 4×4 vehicles, ready to head off into the wilderness.
Our sturdy 4WDs will then venture up into the Feruglio Mountains, a 9.5km ride which offers great views of our surroundings and takes us ultimately to an elevated area where the cars will be parked. Once there, we’ll begin a 20-minute trek over terrain characterized by glacial erosion, until reaching the Upsala Glacier Lookout; an exclusive vantage point for visitors to appreciate this immense glacier that can only be accessed from Estancia Cristina.
There will be plenty of time here to enjoy views of Lake Guillermo and the eastern side of the Upsala Glacier, as well as the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Afterwards, the groups will head back to the lodge in our 4×4 vehicles, for a well-deserved rest and lunch (Later on, having returned from the trek, we will visit the Costumbrista Museum, housed in the estancia’s old shearing shed where guests can learn all about the history of the Masters family: their lives, adventures and how they became pioneers in Patagonia. Finally, a guided tour will take visitors around Estancia Cristina’s estate – up to the Caterina River, the waterwheel, chapel and the rest of the lodge.

Day 7: EL CALAFATE
Walk over the Breathtaking Perito Moreno Glacier!
Explore Patagonia’s rugged beauty, serene lakes, and monumental glaciers on the full-day trip to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Sail from Bajo las Sombras Port across to Brazo Rico, where you meet your guide, strap on your crampons, and embark on a mini trek across the glacier. Listen as your guide provides fascinating details of local glaciology, flora, and fauna, before trekking into a nearby Magellanic forest.

The excursion begins in the embarking pier located in “Bajo de las Sombras” port, about 6 km before the glacier Balconies- where you embark for a 20 minutes navigation across the Rico Arm, enjoying breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno glacier’s front wall. You disembark on the opposite shore, where specialized bilingual mountain guides welcome you and lead you to a small shelter. After checking the last details, groups of not more than 20, follow their guides along the lake’s shore towards the edge of the glacier. Once on the ice the guides put each participant a pair of crampons on, and explain how to use them. The two hours circuit that follows introduces you to the fascinating landscape of the glaciers: streams, small lagoons, gullies, cravasses and plenty of ice formations of the most incredible blues. The trekking is moderate. The ice surface over which you walk is irregular, but firm and safe. You will receive explanations about flora, fauna and general glaciology of the region and also about the particular phenomenon that happens in the Perito Moreno Glacier and eventually produces its rupture. After the walk, a stroll through the forest brings you back to the shelter.
